Eraserhead. The 1996 World Series. War and Peace. President Kennedy's inaugural address. None of those things featured me, so I probably won't be writing about them much. You never know, though. Maybe one day I'll need to put some "content" into one of my blog posts, stuff that involves so-called "research," and I'll punch something up.
But enough of what I won't be doing. I'm a postive man, and I like to look forward. Here are just a few of the things I'll talk about:
-A second-by-second recap of the time I took a major spill on a patch of ice, complete with inner monologue
-Dinosaurs
-World Peace
-My favorite bands
-Pretty much anything that I experience, think about, or observe
So that's what I'm interested in. Maybe in subsequent days I'll fill in more details about myself in my profile; and maybe I won't. I play the mysterious card a lot; I'm kind of like that guy in high school you were pretty sure played chess on Friday nights, but you weren't entirely certain about. And you liked that in him. A lot. Like, really a lot. Like, you always wanted to ask him over to play Nintendo 64 with you and your significant other, but you weren't sure if that would be weird, so you didn't. But that didn't stop you from wondering maybe what he was thinking about, and if he had a car, or if possibly he needed a ride somewhere sometime, but just because you were wondering, not because you cared or anything.
So that's me. As far as the minor details of my existence in time/space:
-I'm attending Maharishi University of Management
-I really- purely in the interest of full disclosure- think this place is great. And not in the subdued way that some people talk about places they like. You know what I mean: "I really love it here," a vacantly attractive girl will say with a goofy grin. "I know that sounds weird to say, right, like something out of a pamphlet or whatever. But I just, you know, there's a lot of fun stuff going on here; and the people! The people are amazing. But anyway, like, I definitely think you can be happy anywhere; this is just a place that I've found that suits me." I'm not like that girl at all: I drool when I think about where I am. Really. I change my shirt three times a day; I'm worse than Cher at an awards show.
-I'm living on campus, in a room by myself, and that's pretty cool. My last college roomate didn't speak any english AT ALL, so it's definitely an improvement.
-My aunt tricked me into coming here; but that's another story for another day
